How do voice actors get through kids' shows scripts without killing themselves??

Funny...for a moment I mistook him for Bruce, the Hawaiian god of mullets.

Also, what's that Canadian kid doing in Hawaii? Where are his parents?

We were all duped into a horrible marketing ploy, now I see the light.

Is there also a Tequila Slammer? What are its powers?

You can always tell who the protagonist in "boys' cartoons" because they are drawn in the most homoerotic way.

A quasi related question: can we blame "Thundercats" for Furries?

I swear there wasn't a single toy in the 1980s that didn't have its own awful cartoon. Besides the Rubik's Cube cartoon mentioned above there were:
Madballs
My Pet Monster
Teddy Ruxpin
...and on and on.

Am I the only person why the Hawaiian sun-pog-thing looks like the Aryan poster boy?

The armed forces can't stop a bunch of pogs? Is this show supposed to be set in France?

@filmscience: I was thinking the same thing. That kid had a Cubby from "Gummi Bears" thing goin' on.

From the IMDB entry, this looks like its just a pilot.

And if you liked it, you may like these:

The Chore
Shadow Rising
"Twinkle, the Dream Being"
A Chucklewood Easter
Stanley and the Dinosaurs

at least the kid who did the voice of this could reclaim himself in the tv series Reboot.

I should have known there was a shitty cartoon about Pogs but the knowledge of this show somehow escaped me until now. Thanks EIT, I guess.

Holy shit Luke- Thank you so much. I watched the Rubik the cube show....wow. The cube is fucking omnipotent and no explanation is offered at all. Thank you for bringing this cartoon to my attention.

Henry Horker said...

Nice "not" at the end. Where can I get some slammers?

Chris said...

I had a "OJ in the Slammer!" Slammer.

Trish said...

The most impressive thing about this cartoon is how it contains all of the early 1990s. ALL of it.

Now that I think about it though I think I have one of those slammers still... hope its the robot chick that looks suspiciously like C-3PO.
