Here is just a taste of what went down at this year's Found Footage Battle Royale at The Cinefamily during the insanely funtertaining EVERYTHING IS FESTIVAL!
Knocked out (unjustly) in the first round, we had The Clipinator aka Doug Karo! Check out his awesome stuff HERE.
The ladies really represented this year too and LA's own Laura W really perved up the place...

The lattice. Public access' best friend.
Our shoe shining friend hasn't heard of time-lapse videography. Imagine him shining shoes at 20x speed. Dear god, somebody please do this.
That shoe shine video is what the second season of Freaks and Geeks would have looked like.
Video #1 star was a fan of Video #2 star
Shoe shining: What a beautiful piece of of video. This definetly needs the EIT touch (Shoe! Shoe. shoe shoe. Shoe shoe. Shoe!) knowwhatimeanVern?
If these are the runners up, I can't wait to see what else we have in store!
I initially thought the shoe-shine guy would be fit for Boring Week, but he was strangely mesmerizing. Such rhythmic shoe buffing, yet only showing us how to use a quarter of the tools he painstakingly brought out. Tease.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw shades of Martin Starr in Mr. Shine-Your-Own-Shoes.
Also, EIT, you killed in Omaha tonight. Great to get to bask in some of your presence for even a short time! I hope the mountains of Jerrys survived the unexpected Jerry-slide!
top crotch- i mean notch. Well done
Lordy--I do believe I saw the shoe shining guy buff HIMSELF off at the 3:43 mark.
It's a shame about child actors. They grow up and some of them actually get into por--oh wait
I just watched Pat shine shoes for almost six minutes. I was kind of expecting more of a payoff.
"Spray Shoe".... ""Buff Cream Off, Again"... "Put Cream On, Again"
Looks like doing your act live screws with the guy writing your sequence tags.
(I love the fact that people are more interested with Shoe-Shine Boy than Traci Lords.)
Why would the shoe shine guy go through the trouble of teaching us how to shine our shoes and then tell us to take our shoes to the local repair shop to get them shined?
Shoe shine guy is probably very familiar w/ Traci Lords' work....
Was kinda hoping for some shoe trivia while he laboriously worked on the shoes--just to break the sience and monotony: "Did you know that the Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe" is NOT a true story? Yup. And Clark Gable wore a size 12....yup yup"
I guess that using one shoe would not have been enough? No, he had to show you two shoes. And a little humming on the side. Very talented guy. I was kinda dissapointed to not see him finish tho. I was held in suspense.
