I considered laying in some footage from the famous red pill / blue pill scene here but could not stand to cut any of the beautiful Nelson.

A few fun facts :

- Nelson are now performing on Royal Caribbean cruises...no joke...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GMt5aNcXw6g

- The woman in the robe is Tracy Nelson, Gunner and Matthew's sister. She was also on the 80s / 90s show Father Dowling Mysteries.

Not a fan of Nelson, just my brain that holds onto useless trivia.

If only the kid had been listening to Pantera.

that would be amazing if the Nelson brothers now lived in a house like the one in the video!

the "babes" tag is killing me

That's interesting to know about the "wife" in the video, because when I was watching it I couldn't help thinking that the real problem with this family stemmed from the fact that dad had clearly married his daughter.

Why did Spalding Gray do this?

That's so sad about the Nelson's abusive childhood. It explains why their music is so dark, existential and angry.

Gosh darn, they're so edgy.
Also thanks for the info, Matt! I'm tickled they're playing cruises.

I met one of the twins once, can't remember which. Really nice guy, actually. Gave me his autograph. BTW, one of them has a smokin' hot wife now, too...

Wow, man, they're like so really deep and spiritual, you know, man?
Hah, what a load of pretentious nonsense. They had one thing right, though, its certainly relevant to the 90's.
