Thanks to Dragon Sound for getting me out of the Fruit Boots and into some Heelys!

I have to see the rest of this masterpiece. What is it called/where did you find it?

This is all Bush's fault.

Oh how I miss the late 90s/early 00s...

It's the only decade in which young males could wear neon colored shirts, cargo pants and seashell necklaces and not be judged.

I used to work in a big box video store during the very last gasp of big box video stores. It felt like every single week in our shipment of new videos, one of them would be some crappy-looking kid movie with a title like "The Flying Dirtbike" or "The Magic Skateboard" or something equally stupid. I never rented any of them, but at least now my curiosity has been sated forever from just this little excerpt.

I think this movie wrapped just about every crappy kid's movie trope into one neat little package on heelys.

EIT, you've outdone yourselves with this one. bravo.

I wonder what lame gimmicky shoes the next generation will wear. Reversible shoes? Sneakers with spring-loaded cleats? Let me know so I can get a patent started.

When I first saw a distant image of a kid flying over the lake with a dog in his backpack, I was honestly hoping it was that main bully kid, that he somehow was able to steal the flying Heelys©. It would have been way more uplifting to see him get the dog to a legal guardian who could afford to properly care for the animal, and for him to finally get away from that group of liberal fascists he was hanging with. Those punks were really putting him under pressure to be someone he's not nor could ever be.

All I want to know is...did he ever find his dog?

I still can't believe that Maguire punk didn't even have a skateboard

@andiepants - Yes, Flyin' Ryan did find his dog at the scene of his final showdown fight with the gel-haired bully. If you look closely at the shot of F'R cruisin' over the lake you will see a tiny, ugly pooch face in the backpack.

Those were the best bullies ever. They pushed that kid into the water and then he was history. No kid knows how to get out of water once he's pushed in, and that's science.

Wait this was an advert for those shoes.

redlettermedia.com did a review of Flying Ryan a year ago

There was a t-shirt with "2008" on there someplace, it can't be that old. Flyin' Ryan was wearing it, it was yellow.

Either way, he ain't got shit on Duane.

This classic was filmed in Lakeport California about ten years ago, I know because the lead actress is my next door neighbor. It was a wonderful film to comment on all through high school.

Beautiful. Really cool song that lady band was playing, too, kinda soulful. Thanks!
