PITTSBURGH SHORTS PROGRAM FEB 12!

Videos from Rem Lezar, Commodore Gilgamesh, a 12 year old from Wheaton IL circa 2003, and international and local filmmakers! At Melwood Screening Room Wednesday, February 12, 8pm! Full details below and here:

For two years now Pittsburgh Extreme Radical Video has been the only working Pittsburgh based micro-cinema. On the last Saturday of every month the group gets together to screen personally selected programs of contemporary and classic underground and outsider works of video and film. The core members always make their own videos to screen with every months program. The idea is to democratize every role within the filmmaking process, and to show that in this day and age, affordable, quick and easy filmmaking has finally become a reality. Anyone can become an active member of P.E.R.V.; all you have to do is make videos and screen them at P.E.R.V. screenings. For this special two year anniversary screening P.E.R.V. has put together a program of contemporary local and international video-makers that is sure to offer you (as always) a once in a lifetime (or month) experience. You will not see this program of videos from Korea, Australia, Los Angeles, Mexico, Pittsburgh etc. ever again, so come enjoy them and celebrate the two year anniversary of Pittsburgh Extreme Radical Video!
