I'm not trying to be a dick, but I find it super gross that a percentage of men must find Charo hot. Otherwise she wouldn't have a career, right? According to Wikipedia, she was paid the same salaries Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra when performing in Vegas- which confuses me even more. I wanna say it's cause she has some sort of weird, grown-up sexuality to her, but then I throw up in my mouth a little and think of men who must have been turned on by this.
I also like that they used a Macarena knock-off track during the whole video. Nice job, team.

Duane should be the EIT mascot.

Eeeeewwwwww
Very sorry to see EIT, a site I adore, stoop to the leve of the "threw up in my mouth a little" cliche. :-(
You're wrong about why Charo has a career -- it's GAY men who love her, *because* of her strange sexuality, at once childlike and cartoonishly exaggerated. She exists in a long line of female female-impersonators, going back to Josephine Baker and Carmen Miranda, and extending to Pam Anderson and... I dunno Elizabeth Berkeley or whoever it is the gays love these days. (Also: Charo is *really really* good at the flamenco guitar. Seriously.)
haha i love the duane cameo at the end.
Duane ought to be the EIT mascot. Seriously. I'll get behind that.
I like Charo because she's actually talented. Have you ever head that woman play the guitar? It sounds like she has 20 hands ...it's crazy.
My best friend had dinner with Charo recently and said she was very nice and surprisingly intelligent.
I'm turned on...
don't know if anyone of you have seen this, ut you should check it out:

it's a true Finnish classic. He (the singer) used to be really popular in the 60's and 70's, still sort of is,and she was a Miss Finland at the time. I just love the dance moves!
Duane!
I don't know much about her music now, and sure she looks like an old lady (she is one, after all), but back in the '70s she was amazing. The "airhead" persona was just an act to capitalize on us Americans' idiotic need to laugh at foreigners. It's all well and good if you dislike disco, classical guitar, and/or Latin music, but don't accuse someone of having no talent or being undeserving of having a long-lasting career just because you're not eclectic as the rest of the world.
