Tapes intended for rental were always priced higher (usually around 80 to 120). Supposedly they were of higher quality and could withstand more watching/rewinding without wearing out so fast. Also, the manufacturers new the rental places were going to be making a shitload more by renting a video out rather than just selling it.
I don't know if that was what this Sinbad tape was or not but, either way, $0.80 is too much for a Sinbad VHS.
