The whole story is tragic, especially the real estate part.
Both of their birth parents up and abandoned them and then both foster parents died before they were 18? Really? Talk about bad luck.

Wow, who says people with disabilities can't be scam artists too.
Interesting that all these ads from the 90s mention financial "independence" and "freedom" as the great goal, whereas ads today are always about "security", "safety" or being "risk-free"... interesting how times change.
