Unless that anchor is made of Kryptonite I don't think Superman's suicide attempt will succeed... What happens if you freak in the wrong direction?

It's very fashionable now to run down hippies, but as this clip shows us, they are actually noble and wise. They were sort of like the Magic Negro archetype for an earlier generation, boosting wounded spirits and freeing squares from their buttoned-down mindsets.

Seriously, thanks for posting this. I keep seeing dribbles from this show and while I think it's almost entirely awful (Loretta Swit doing "You've Got Possibilities" aside), I just HAVE to see the whole thing. It's very OCD.

The one hippie with the darker hair is Michael Lembeck, aka Kaptain Kool (and the Kongs) from the Krofft Supershow in the 70s. He went on later to direct sitcoms, including "Friends."
