Imagine you're a geek, with arms of breadstick. Imagine you're a spazz, who goes totally unnoticed at school like a shadow in the night. Image you're a dweeb, with Monty Python transcripts coursing through your veins.
I like it if they used this technique to advertise, say, Candy Land. "Imagine!!! You are a GINGERBREAD man...on your way to the MOLASSES SWAMP!! DO you dare??!! DO you know the name of the color on your CARD?!?!"
I remember this. It was supposedly filmed in "Hyper-vision", which apparently means "using C-grade actors to act in a black and white film and then using a Technicolor knock-off to colorize it".

Dear Dragon Master,
ReplyDeleteYou will have a hard time nailing anything playing this game.
P.S. You should sue for false advertising. Women will not play this, even in your imagination they will smite you.
I hoped the night I nailed teraptus would never end.

ReplyDeleteOh that takes me back...I thought I was the coolest kid on my block.
ReplyDeleteWell, at least among those kids on my block currently inside a basement, watching a horrible movie knock-off of D&D. Alone.
Flashbacks to my childhood...I owned this?! Is that why we couldn't afford the Barbie dream car?
ReplyDelete"Do not turn the VCR off yet. This is a special section of the tape for dragon masters ONLY."
