Growing up, I remember have a friend whose parents used to mime everything when I went over to their house. I thought it was funny as a kid, but looking back I realize they were just poor and would mime the things they didn't have: a television, a refrigerator, enough food, health insurance, etc.
Now, I realize it was more sad than funny, but still pretty funny.
One has to assume that people who take up mime are either talentless cretins who desperately want to be "artistic" in order to feel marginally less pathetic, (without recognizing that, whether good or bad, performing mime makes them pathetic), or...they're desperately insane.
If your kids misbehave, threaten to leave them at the mime couple's house for eternity.
