  2. War is just like playing in the sandbox but instead of sand in your eyes you are horribly injured or killed.

  4. Oh Humvees, I remember when you were badass, back before they put a bastardized version of you into the hands of rich douchebags, which inspires me to put a battering ram on the front of my vehicle and go hunting for Hummers.

  5. You didn't have to slow it down, it was scary enough - the message and the roll call of arms manufacturers. I guess writing 'working class cannon fodder' on their foreheads would've been too subtle.

  6. Relax, anonymous, it's just some incompetent video company using stock footage.

  7. I do not personally think this one is a big deal. I would have loved this as a kid. I laughed at this video, but I learned stuff too. I didn't know they had gasoline trucks following tanks. That would have seemed to dangerous to me.

Kids play with toy weapons all the time, they turn out fine. I don't see how anyone could be against this being released. Yes its basic propoganda but I doubt many kids would join the military because of this video. If anyone disagrees I would like to read their opinion.

  9. Fitsimmons, I agree that we all play with guns and trucks and playing with said toys doesn't make a person grow up and join the army. But i do not think that we have all turned out alright. We are not alright. A war torn world is not alright. Everything is not going to be alright.
Maybe this video is propaganda trying to get kids to love war machines, or maybe kids just innately love war machines. Either way, i think it's worth thinking about.
Lastly, i would like to point out that I used to play with mad guns and trucks when i was a kid, but MacGyver never needed guns to win the day. Though he often used make shift bombs. Buuut, one time he defused a bomb on a cruise ship. Remember that episode? Great episode.

  11. I imagine this would be what Luther Vandross would have done songs for in his spare time if he were still living today.

  12. I don't think there's any subliminal messages. Though I am suddenly thirsty for tanker fuel...
