  1. Indoor vermicomposting is awesome. My worm bin says "HI MOM!".

  2. This is so bad it's not even funny. It's just painful. Couldn't make it through.

  3. I'm not ashamed to say that in 1993 I had the exact haircut sported by "James" in this video, and I can prove it with photographs taken at my junior prom. BUT! Please do not miss the brief glimpse of a truly extraordinary rat-tail crawling down the back of the little kid, visible around 2:24. I might even go so far as to classify it as an "Epic Rattail." The 90s were a crazy time!

  4. This is the most revolting thing I've ever seen. And I watched that ET porno that was posted the other day.

  5. Why doesn't this have the CREEP tag?

  6. That rat tail is godly. I never knew anyone with one so long.

  7. Was this actually a sex ed video made by the abstinence only people? Because I never want to think about sex ever again after watching this.

  8. Already saw this on Efukt.

  9. I don't think I'll ever get the image of the Worm Lady slowly, seductively sliding the ring off that kid's finger out of my head. Who would have thought worms would be such a sexy subject?

  11. @Anonymous: "Already saw this on Efukt." OH NOE HES BACK!

    Meanwhile...

I learned something today. I thought worms laid eggs. Oh, they do? nm...

  16. In a shocking twist, the Worm Woman comes off as relatively normal next to that creepshow of a family.

  17. just...why... make an educational video about worms, that's fine, but this video was probably the worst way to do it....this makes other videos about worms being inside of people, and footage of them being pulled out of their bodies(I saw a video like this in 9th grade) less revolting.

  18. This is ADORABLE. Oh, those sweet, terrible people.

How many years do you think "Jules" had been growing that epic rattail???? How old was he when he cut it off?????! So many unanswered questions!!

Except about worm shit. I think all those got covered.

  20. Perhaps a 'don't watch while eating' warning could be added. Cos I feel nauseous now.

  24. "Wormania! makes learning about worm composting fun and interesting. This video and the accompanying Teaching Guide could make worm composting part of every school's curriculum and waste management strategy. Understanding how worms function gives a valuable perspective on the interconnectedness of life systems. Lessons that bring nature into the classroom provide children with an opportunity to experience the foundation of life on earth. These lessons will help build life-long respect and compassion for others, something this world sure needs more of. I commend Mary Appelhof for her contagious enthusiasm and dedication to the wonderful world of worms!"

"Education can be fun as well as informative and, in this case, very slimy, icky and yucky! Great name for a rock band. . . but no, it is Mary, Bill and crew bringing us their humor, knowledge, creativity and visionary thoughts on a subject seldom "embraced". .. . the worm. I have played with and fished with and gardened with the worm, but I had no idea how much I didn't know about this generous creature."

"My class absolutely loved the Wormania! video. They sing the songs with enthusiasm. Wormania was the piece de resistance for our worm unit."

  25. Damnit... the section of my brain that hit puberty in the early 90s thinks "James" is kinda hot, while my modern mind says "Jesus, what a dork!" I blame multiple middle school crushes for having that same haircut.

  26. A bobbing boom mike, too!

  27. Can we get, "tail" "rat tail" "white family" and "90s" added to the tags please?

  29. That mating segment was even creepier than Isabella Rossellini's "Seduce Me" worm episode, and that's saying something.

  30. Pretty sure Jules is going to murder that family if he hasn't already.
