OH MY DOG! I would like to apologize on behalf of the idiots who represent the city of Portland on our local news. they're always talking bout bustin jeibers or crussle rowe or even Dosie O'ronald while all the time missing whats really terrible right in front of us
He doesn't want to say that we've gone to the dogs. You could either take that as a smarmy little quip, that he's too good for this shit. OR that someone asked him to say "we've gone to the dogs" to point out the atrocious state of local TV news. Of course the video does that well enough without that quote verbatim.
Gosh that's some penetrating investigative reporting right there. Thanks for sticking up for forgotten and unloved filmmakers from the 80s & 90s by ensuring that they're forgotten forever, Channel Live 7 or 8 or whatever!
The grace and dignity with which they treated the Whitney Houston story was comforting and reassuring. Those two know what honor looks and smells like.
Oh, and I loved the "I don't know what you've watched," line. Classic.
so I see some of the EIT guys will be dressed up as dogs this time instead of the monster outfits? I know I'm breaking down the 4th wall here, but I recognize the hooded-bandanna wearing fellow from the live show I saw back in 2010. He was wearing a mask and started taking off his clothes while walking through the theater, yes, good times.
I bought my ticket for the 1rst Austin TX show, can't wait!
This is one of my favorite EITs ever. I live in PDX and the news is fuckin awful. Pretty far removed from anything that has anything to do with living in Portland. Its a bit of an honor to have you dudes here and to see this up now. Thanks. Keep up the amazing shitz.
wow, i can't believe how how much of an arse that reporter made of himself, what happened to journalists being neutral, rather then self important pricks? sorry you guys had to be talked to like that, keep up the good work!
Whitney smashed her DoggieWoggiez dvd and tried to snort it. That's how she died. Live at 7 will discover the truth, the pricks.
ReplyDeletePortland deserves better than these jabronis. Or maybe we don't. Good candid stuff, and delicious irony gravy smothering it all.

Any chance you guys could post the original video? I love your(rare) interviews!
ReplyDeleteThe spokesman sort of had his hair up over this interview. Is that a sore Spot for EIT?
ReplyDeleteHe doesn't want to say that
