  5. If these people had channeled all their obsession and motivation into something constructive, they could have eliminated world hunger or something by about 1998.

  7. This should also be tagged "white people."

I'm from Ohio and I agree that this is an accurate portrayal of the rabid OSU fans. Though, in my experience, there is much, MUCH more drinking.

  9. @ 2:16, I love how so many adult women in the 90s wore Simpsons shirts. My mom couldn't stand the show, yet even she had a Simpsons shirt she wore ALL THE TIME.

    haha, I love the 90s!

  10. Wow. The hair on that woman early on tending the pork chops really is something. Also priceless is the guy's look after he says "we've been here since 6:30". It's a proud, challenging glare that defies anyone else to claim to be a bigger fan.

  11. Well... It's nice to see people in Ohio excited about something, I guess? Although that foaming rabid marching band brought back some bad high school memories...

@anonymous: As someone who lives in Michigan, that is both true and frightening.

  12. Oh my. Dude. When I was a wee lass in Dayton, Ohio, my entire extended family were these freaky people. Once, when OSU lost to Michigan, my cousin (at the time about 21) ran into his front yard and tore the OSU decals off of his car until his fingers bled, then ripped the OSU yard flag off of its pole and ripped it to shreds. While screaming/crying.

This video made my knees quiver in fear. :)

  13. I understand the frenzied college students, but the 60-somethings tailgating at 6 AM? - What the hell? Is Country Kitchen Buffet not open yet?

  14. If you're bleeding, particularly if the blood happens to be gray in color, perhaps a football game is not the place to be at that time. Perhaps seeking some immediate medical attention would be advisable.

  15. I remember this song. My brother had a cassette tape with multiple Buckeye-inspired songs, and this was one of them. Also, "Won't You Come Home, Brutus Buckeye?" (definitely not Bill Bailey).

  16. Columbus native...OSU alum (undergrad AND grad school)...still stuck here. Probably will always be stuck here.

Except for the haircuts and clothes, I'm pretty sure last weekend looked exactly like that.
