This one goes out to my toots in Cleveland, where I am pretty sure Brother Mike is from (he mentioned WMMS at one point!). I thought it could use a little love, since I'm not sure if he understood demo tapes are not meant to look like a serial killer's diary.
Like a stand up act in a David Lynch film. Nothing seemed to fit even in a lame way. Became surreal.
ReplyDeleteWow filmbug, that is waaaaaaay too good a review for what we just watched.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I understood only one joke, and that was about the fat chick named Wanna.
Of course, it took him a while to warm up, but at the end there, he got on a roll.
A bread roll. Zing!
Holy shit, this is scary. The weirdest part to me is that somebody was holding the camera to film this, and they didn't even try to stop him.
ReplyDeleteAh ha ha ha ha ha!
ReplyDeleteAt least someone was laughing.
King of Comedy with Deniro, anyone?

Watching this makes me think that the guy holding the camera was kidnapped and shackled to a pipe in this guy's basement. He did this in some sort of bargain for his life.
ReplyDeleteThe Wesley Willis of comedy.
ReplyDeleteWas the guy filming this drunk, high, or on date rape drugs form this "Mike" character?
ReplyDeleteI agree with J.C.,
ReplyDelete"It films me with the camera or it gets the hose again!"

He was on a roll, a roll of film AHAHAHAHA!
ReplyDeleteCut. It. Out.
So this is this "alt comedy scene" I've been reading about. Can't wait til he gets a spot on WTF.
ReplyDeletelookin in his books
ReplyDeleteOh god. I'm with filmBug, seriously Lynchian shit. Surreal and unnerving and just terrible.
ReplyDeleteAwesome.
I am considering starting a support group for people who watched this video.
ReplyDeleteI feel like my soul's been violated.
ReplyDeleteGreat, now in seven days this douche is going to show up and kill me, right?
ReplyDeleteThis changes my opinion of Cleveland, Ohio completely.
ReplyDeleteThis changes my opinion of Cleveland, Ohio completely.
ReplyDeleteSo nobody in here noticed how they montaged the audience and laughter in there afterwards?
ReplyDeleteAs a person from the Cleveland area, I am horrified that this dude will start telling jokes at me on the street and then cut my neck if I don't laugh.
ReplyDeleteHoly crap. Dude's got himself a whole YouTube channel. I'm hooked!

His jokes are too high brow for me. I didn't get any of them.
ReplyDelete@og Nate I think you mean...
ReplyDeleteA bread roll.
