Tonight at 9:45 PM at the Music Box, will be your only chance to enact revenge on our favorite overweight christian robot creep! Come see Colby live! Tonight! Buy your tickets now!
Things that are awesome: 1 - Nick, the technophobe with the Biff-Do. 2 - The obviously older red-headed child-wrangler at the 30 second mark. 3 - The gigantic ramshackle clubhouse made out of driftwood. 4 - Colby's incredibly creepy and mincing C-3P0 impersonation.
Best of luck with the show tonight, guys. Looking forward to the Chapel Hill leg of the tour.
Left the theater. Self-indulgent, nonsensical garbage. Love the website. Hate the movie -- not to mention the 45 minutes of masturbatory live junk in the beginning.
Anonymous, were you seriously expecting it all to make sense? That's never seemed to me to be in EIT!'s mission statement (if that weren't such a preposterous idea in itself). I mean, try reading all the way through this: http://www.everythingisterrible.com/p/about.html
Who was the idiot who heckled the speaker in the EIT CON 2010 segment? Was that you, anon? Anyway, that was one the funniest shows I've been to. Good job. Favorite part was somewhere in the middle of the movie when there is a speaker who in defense of his pyramid scheme states that the pyramid is one of the most powerful cosmic shapes in the universe.
Hailing from the St. Louis show: Best night of my life, amazing performance and indeed face melting video mastermindingz. If you are on the fence about going to see this live, cut yourself in half on that fence so two of you can go see it!
I saw the previous movie (not 2E2T, but the original) and I was left speechless by its sheer awesomeness. It's kind of a lot to handle over an hour, but an amazing feat of VHS editing skillz.

Somebody Photoshop a $200K skateboard
ReplyDeleteIt is easy to be cool when God made you that way, cool rappin' black kid. That's why the white skater kid tries so hard.
ReplyDeleteWhy does Christian cultural production suck so much?
ReplyDeleteThe god-head at the end of video 1 is still the scariest thing you've ever posted. Almost made me lose my luuuuunch.

ReplyDeleteI was masturbatory junk!!!!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree with anonymous' comments more. I was in the skit and I was APPALLED! Totally appalled.

ReplyDeleteIs that a little new testament in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?
ReplyDeleteGreat show. They really picked high quality child actors. They are so good, it's hard to believe they are just acting!
ReplyDeleteHa! I used to watch that show!

ReplyDeleteChristian kids singing "You must be a robot, too."?
ReplyDeleteUnintentional hilarity or unreflective irony?
I feel better knowing I just watched that "for the lord."
ReplyDeleteI want to edit out Colby's voice and replace it with the spoken lines of Colossus from Colossus: The Forbin Project
ReplyDeleteI love the scene at around the four-minute mark in the first video:
ReplyDelete"NO! I am a human! Don't turn me into a Godless machine! Like... Colby... wait...?"
And in the second video, skateboarding. The hallmark of every desperate attempt to connect with the young persons.
mmm, zubaz pants.
