E.T. is a fearmonger, plain and simple. He is getting rich of global warming hysteria and with the media's help. Go back to your home planet, you fucking warm-profiteer.
I think this gets a pass. I mean, Ice-T back when he had some credibility, talking about environmental racism. And the fact that, unlike 99% of EIT videos, the rappers can actually, uh, rap.
OK, I could've done without ET, and the finger-snapping moms, and Will Smith. But still.
This is unusually star-studded for an EIT pick. Also, the rapping is so innocuous that it's downright
It is rather sad that the message of "we've got to work together" to save our planet has never been more lost. I try not to be cynical, but if Queen Latifah and Kid n' Play can't bring us together, who can???
@Anon: That was indeed Jonathan Brandis. I spotted Miam Bialik, (Blossom) too.
You know, this is the first time I've seen Ice-T rap? It was strange to see him in his element, I mean, I know him more for being the "guy with the Jheri Curl" on SVU.
Lastly, the video could've really done without the moms. Of course, that only makes it even more EIT worthy.
"Bastian made many other wishes, and had many other amazing adventures - before he finally returned to the ordinary world. But that's... another story."
EPIC WIN, Ghoul Skool. I got a huge laugh out of just the title alone! The video, even moreso. Wow, does Latifah look lesbian in this video or what? She was like Rosie O'Donnell in reverse: she started out butch, and got more femme as time went on.
See, Samuel L. Jackson hasn't always been as famous as he is now.

Best video you guys have put up (that is not terrible).
ReplyDeleteWill Smith, Queen Latifah... ICE-T?
One of these things is not like the other, one of these things just doesn't belong
oh my God, was that Jonathan Brandis?

er, downright wholesome.
ReplyDeleteOrgasmic E.T. has scared me off of recycling for good. Now who's going to pay my therapy bills?

Hmmm... "Erf" Day...caption full of hate and condemnation...decent video. Anyone for tea?
ReplyDeleteNo hate! I was quoting Will Smith from 'Independence Day.' Love!
ReplyDeleteI really want to know what Ice-T says to Will Smith right when Tone Loc starts rapping.

ReplyDeleteQueen Latifah was the best.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I thought Ice-T was about to reach through my monitor and slice my throat.
ReplyDeleteNeverending Story quote: incredible.
That's just so typical of a bunch of 90s rappers... hanging out in front of their local "rare books" store...
ReplyDeletere: the free-stylin' intro... who would have thought jesse jackson would be such a poor rapper?
