  3. I would actually find it really helpful if the fashions and cultural trends that tastemakers deemed "hot" were presented to me in the form of rap on a regular basis. Like maybe monthly? Like a "what's hot" column in Vogue, but with a dance beat. Seriously, someone, get on this.

  6. Thank goodness they were flashing words on the screen in the first clip, because I have no idea. Bonus points for including "Ricki Lake," though.

    It reminds me of a bet I had with a friend 12 years ago: that she couldn't logically fit the phrase "Captain Kirk" into discussion in our college History of the English Language class. I lost.
