That's not even the worst of Magic Star Traveler. I have Vol. 3, where they discuss how the earth was formed (scientifically), and then back it up and retell it from the creationist standpoint. It's actually quite mind-raping.
I'll have to track that down, jacob. Anything creationist is usually golden. I was a little disappointed in this tape (vol.2) despite the awesome cover.
Sadly we just bought Volume 1. We saw it at the local Save-A-Lot for $1 and figured it couldn't be that bad. Um. Yes, Yes it could. We had way more fun laughing AT it than WITH it.
To begin with, on the back it's Volume 1 The Magic Star Traveler and just under it spelled with two L's. That should have tipped us off. Elephants of India, London England and Sharks From Around The World. None of them were better than the one before it. These comments were funnier than the video itself. It's so bad it's not even on IMDB! LOL
I can't even express to you how geeked I am that someone out there posted about MST. Both I and my fella owned copies of it -- it was just too weird to resist. I like to think our mutual appreciation of MST means we were meant to be!
My son loves the mst an its first time watching an he thinks it cool he is 6 looks like im goin to have down the rest but i dont mind its clean an educational which makes a great show for kids so its sad some of u dont look at from a childs point of view cause thats who its for not us

ReplyDeleteThere aren't drugs strong enough to allow my mind to comprehend this. This blog is a precious gem. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI have Vol 2 & 3 but I've never seen 1...has anyone else ever seen it? or know what its about?
ReplyDeleteThey call people dummies a lot in these videos..and also like to land their spaceship on flowers & giraffes.
